Continuous Nourishment
Rooting in Receptivity

An At-home Continuum Movement® Series
Four Saturdays starting September 16, 2023

Be guided to true nourishment.

Continuum Movement® is a body-based practice that uses sound, subtle movement, and intention to carry us into a direct experience of the ever-present health of our Source. We move out of our habitual contexts and dive into group ritual and personal inquiry. We slow down to the pace of pleasure and reconnect to the greater field.

Trust in the eternal flow of love.

When we receive nourishment from sustainable continuous sources, we get less hooked to dopamine-fed addiction. There is no need to grasp for the goodness of a momentary experience or to make something solid that is not. We no longer need to be caught in addictive cycles without choice.

The way our bodies have been conditioned limits the nourishment we can access.

Top-down. Command and control. Override. Ignore. Push. Achieve. Conquer. Don’t stop.

That’s how our modern culture teaches us to relate to others, to nature, and — most importantly — to our own bodies. No wonder so many of us suffer from various forms of toxicity and dis-ease. It looks like:

• Burnout
• Overwhelm
• Disassociation
• Lack of meaning
• That general feeling of living in the Matrix

• Depression
• Anxiety
• Loneliness
• Addiction
• Chronic illness

If any of this resonates, you are not alone.

How can we open ourselves to the goodness life offers in every breath and moment?

Continuous Nourishment: Rooting in Receptivity

Slow down to the pace of pleasure

Get fed by the Source within you

Arrive more deeply in your fullness

In this four-week virtual Continuum Movement series, we will practice inviting and seducing the Eros of life.

  • We will allow ourselves to be moved and fed by its fluid intelligence.

  • We'll lovingly encounter our somatic and psychological defenses that keep us from allowing the stream of nourishment in and through.

  • We uncover and heal that unique maze or collection of imprints which stunts our deeper connection to Source.

Welcome to Continuous Nourishment. I’m Elan, and I’ll be your guide on this journey.

I love creating safe, trauma-informed spaces for people to feel really good inside themselves. I’ve been called a “somatic genius” and a “nervous system whisperer.” I bring a deep energetic sensitivity and nourished relationships with the unseen into all my Continuum classes.

I’ve been an authorized Continuum Movement® teacher since 2016. I participated in 500 hours of retreats and workshops over the span of 7 years with Emilie Conrad, founder of Continuum Movement, before she passed in 2014. I’ve done hundreds of hours of practice with other Continuum teachers including Susan Harper, Cass Phelps, Beth Riley, Robert Litman and Gael Rosewood.

  • Twice-trained in Ray Castellino's Prenatal and Birth Therapy

  • Twice-trained biodynamic craniosacral therapist

  • Trained in Daniel Foor’s Ancestral Repair

  • Registered Somatic Movement Therapist

How did this program come to be?

I couldn’t really access a continuous experience of pleasure in my body until my 30s. I deeply longed to feel more alive. It wasn’t until I found Continuum that I learned to reclaim my inner pathways to a wild well of power, connection, and pleasure.

Emilie Conrad, Continuum’s founder, taught there’s a continuous stream of nourishment always available to us. Lately, I’ve been sitting in the inquiry of why we don’t (or can’t) choose to experience that. It’s a topic that’s both pleasurable to explore and immensely deep with what it touches. I created this virtual series because I want to give everyone a chance to feel like a more alive human creature.

What other seekers are saying about Continuum with Elan

What makes Continuum so special?

This is a practice unlike any other. It’s not dance, yoga, Tai Chi, Chi Gong, meditation, or anything else you’ve experienced before.

  • It’s a partner dance with the inner intelligence of your body

  • It’s a vision quest into your sensations

  • It’s a way to journey without plant medicine

  • It helps repattern our familiar ways of moving and perceiving

  • It ushers us beyond cultural expectations and agreements around what it is to be human

  • It’s a Mystery School where our soul and the universe teach us how life wants to move through us

What to expect:

• It can be pleasurable
• It can be uncomfortable
• Visions may arise
• Insight may come
• Childhood memories may float through
• You may have the best nap ever
• The tension in your spine may unwind
• Your jaw might drop (into relaxation 😉)
• Something will surprise you
• Your ego might die a little death
• You might be visited by the loving hand of God
• Eros will certainly have its way with you

What happens in a Continuum class?

When we come together, everyone brings a different piece of magic that helps us all become even more ourselves

Ready for a journey to true receptivity?

Continuous Nourishment 4-week virtual series includes…

❍ Four Live Virtual Group Sessions (2 hr and 15 min each):

Gather together in a community experience of Continuum, collectively re-sourcing and reawakening to the rhythms of nature. Metabolize in community, opening to the fluid intelligence working through the group.

❍ Access to replays:

This includes videos to support you with preparation, understanding the modality and integrating your experiences over the course of the four weeks and beyond. You’ll also receive guided practice recordings and playlists to support you in bringing Continuum into your daily life.

FAQs

  • No problem! While I encourage you to attend as many live sessions as possible, I understand that sometimes things come up. You’ll receive the replay in the online course to revisit at a time that works best for you. There is a live field of holding that gets created during a live session AND I have found in my experience that the field continues when we listen to the recording. I regularly listen to recordings of past Continuum workshops to support my current practice and it is tangible for me.

  • Yes, I am gearing this course to have enough support for beginners and be of value to experienced practitioners. There will be a few (optional) introductory videos to watch before the first live session to support preparation. There will be two sets of office hours to ask specific questions and get some 1:1 support. If you feel inspired and want even more support and care, you are invited to sign up for the Extra Attention option.

  • I doubt it. You already know the answer to this question. ;) Every group and every class is different and in that way, like the practice itself, is fresh and alive. I will be teaching sequences and practices that likely you have never experienced. I teach to the group that arrives and the “downloads” that come will spark new realizations and the Holy Spirit of Water will guide you in to your depths. Your explorations will be fresh and new if you bring your curiosity. And, of course, join in if you are called.

  • The 1:1 Virtual Coaching sessions gives you more time and space to work with exactly what you need. In the sessions, I’ll guide a short somatic arrival to support us to slow down and get in resonance. You share with me or we discover together what your deeper intention is for yourself and your direction of exploration and what challenges arise for you. I’ll support you to meet those challenges and if you so desire after the call, I will create a custom sequence of sounds, movements and inquiry for you to take in your practice. This sequence will be created specifically for your specific nervous system, ancestral patterning, pre-verbal trauma and physical challenges you are experiencing.

  • Ideally, making time and space to participate in the live classes and giving yourself the gift of engaging in and surrendering to the practice of Continuum. You will get the most from it by showing up to the live classes, doing some of the practice a few times a week between live classes and showing up for the office hours if you need more support. Missing a live class or more is okay. Office hours are fully optional. Doing the practice less than 2 times a week with the recordings is also okay. You can also take the class, not make the live classes and lean on the recordings for the duration of the class or beyond. The field and I will be here welcoming you regardless of how much time you are able to offer.

  • I recommend having your video for most of the class and it is not required. The field and my teaching really benefit from being able to see and feel the participants. Part of the benefit of the group container is that we are able to receive each other in our shares and this supports us to move together as a group. You are more than welcome to turn your video off when we do the practice if you want privacy. I will observe and support with verbal cues and can sometimes provide better instruction as I watch you doing the practice.

  • You are invited to ask questions during the live courses and during office hours. While we are in the practice, if you need support or have questions, you can send messages using the chat function in Zoom. If you anticipate wanting more support, I recommend signing up for the Extra Attention option that includes two 1:1 private sessions with me.

  • There are four live sessions on Saturdays for 2 hours and 15 minutes at 12pm MT. There are two one hour virtual group office hours on two Wednesdays at 12pm MT. You will have access to additional training and introductory videos ahead of time. You will get recordings of all live sessions. We will not share full recordings of the office hours to support confidentiality and depth of sharing. The course will be delivered in Zoom and recordings will be posted in our online community and available for you to download. Exact dates are available in the calendar above on this page. After signing up you will be able to add all those dates to your calendar automatically.

  • I recommend watching the video on this page titled: What Happens in a Continuum Workshop?”

  • Yes, we’re offering a double pass — buy one, get one 50% off. You can gift it to a partner, a sibling, a housemate or a friend.

This is a GREAT class to do with your partner. This work is an incredible precursor to lovemaking. It will enhance pleasure and capacities to receive and share love and nourishment as well as longevity.

Also, doing the practice in the same room with another can enhance and deepen the experience.

Note: Each person attending must purchase their own admission. You can buy a second pass for 50% off by emailing Elan and asking for a coupon code.

  • We will gather for an hour (bring tea or cacao or your favorite green drink) and I will be available to answer questions you have about the practice and your process. It’s an opportunity to hang out and share your experience and an opportunity to be supported in what is arising. It’s also an opportunity to meet others that are sharing the journey of this practice with you.

  • Many things can happen in a Continuum workshop. You may fall asleep into a deep nap, you may need to express emotions. You may cry, you may need to talk outloud to your young inner parts or express some anger and push firmly into the ground or wall. Generally, the practice is a lot more subtle and the movements we do are more micro-movements and a lot of time is spent in the inner-dance. Comfort is important. Many folks do the practice on their bed or on a dedicated space like a sheep-skin rug or double-thick yoga mat. Emotional safety and sound privacy are helpful as well. It is worth taking the time to find a place where you don’t have to be vigilant about what others are hearing or thinking. If you are sharing your home with others, you can let them know your need for privacy and that you will be making unfamiliar sounds that are outside cultural norms (and this is a good thing). Rewilding or removing the shackles of domestication is one of the goals so prepare your space for somatic play.

  • Though I'm not officially a sex and intimacy coach or a licensed trauma therapist, I can, in my opinion, very likely yes. Two clear benefits I have received from this practice is an evolution of how much pleasure I can feel and allow to move through my body and that is very much because Continuum served as a container to integrate and heal trauma in my body. It is not a replacement for talk or somatic therapy or other modalities, but works very well in conjunction with other work you are doing on your path. I will add that improving one’s capacity to receive and to feel enhances your capacity to experience and deliver pleasure in the energetic exchange that happens in love and intimacy. Continuum is very much a practice of Eros (the movement of love).
